Chiropody

A Chiropodist is a health professional who assesses, diagnoses, treats and manages conditions of the feet and lower limbs. These conditions can range from relatively minor to potentially crippling.

The Chiropodist will make an assessment of your feet and treat any problems, such as corns or verrucae. They will also cut and file your nails, remove any hard skin, massage your feet and provide you with advice about ongoing care.

You may only need basic hygiene and nail cutting to keep your feet healthy. But when normal feet turn into problem feet, it's best to seek professional help.

Some problems are inherited, and others develop from illnesses in middle age, or from the pressure of ill-fitting shoes.

Common Problems: aging feet, bunions, toes deformities, callus, chilblains, corns, deformed and diseased nails, fungal infections, gout, heel pain, ingrowing toenails, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, sweaty feet, verrucae, warts and much more.
