The Vale Practice hold small tailored 3-on-1 classes, for patients requiring extra attention, ensuring quality results. Private tuition is also available by appointment. Please contact reception for availability.

Pilates

Pilates offers both mental and physical training. It relies on strengthening the postural muscles which stabilise the torso. By correcting muscle imbalances, the body is realigned. Pilates avoids the muscle and ligament damage sometimes associated with other fitness regimes, and plays a key role in many injury rehabilitation programmes in dance, sport and general practice. The Vale Practice runs specialized Rehab Pilates classes of 3 students designed to correct, stretch, strengthen and relax your body back into alignment. Working alongside Osteopaths the small size of the class ensures that each student receives individual attention, maximizing learning and setting you on a safe and effective road to recovery. Private tuition is also available on request.

Yoga

We teach Sivananda yoga. The Sivananda course follows the three main elements of Hatha yoga: asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing) and relaxation. Within one on one, and three on one workshops all levels of experience are catered for.

Ante-Natal Yoga

A preparation of the body using breathing and gentle stretch and strengthening techniques in this time of dramatic change for the body. Again one on one lessons are available on request.

Baby Massage At The Vale Practice!

We are very pleased to announce that The Vale Practice are now offering Baby massage classes on Tuesdays 10:30am-11:30am! Baby Massage is a wonderful experience for both parent and baby. It can help to stimulate growth and development, reduce crying, regulate sleep, ease colic, wind, constipation and teething pains, and strengthen the parent-baby bond. Over 4 one-hour group classes, you will learn a massage sequence for the whole body and learn to follow your baby’s cues and adapt the massage as your baby grows.
