Feel revitalised. Support your well being, skin, joint, and overall health -naturally.
What if just 15–20 minutes under a warm red glow could help you feel refreshed, support your skin health, ease everyday aches, and encourage post-workout recovery? That’s the idea behind Red Light Therapy- now available at The Vale.
Used in wellness clinics, sports facilities and skincare practices around the world, red light therapy is a non-invasive, relaxing treatment designed to support the body’s natural function and promote overall wellbeing.
What Is Red Light Therapy?
Also known as Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT), red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to gently penetrate the skin. This is thought to stimulate cellular activity, via a process called photobiomodulation. This process particularly seems to affect the mitochondria, an organelle within the cell which generates cellular energy. Various research studies over the past 20 years have shown light therapy to have a positive effect on health and wellbeing, particularly in the form of improved recovery after exercise, tissue healing and skin health. There are also many other specific benefits, related to the resultant improved cellular energy that RLT gives, that are currently being or have been researched and that show very positive outcomes.
At The Vale, we’ve chosen a professional-grade system to offer this gentle, wellness-enhancing experience in a safe and calming environment.
Potential Benefits researched and anecdotally reported Include:
Skin Health Support – May encourage collagen production and help improve overall skin tone and texture
Recovery & Relaxation – Commonly used by athletes to help with post-exercise recovery and relaxation
Joint Comfort – Some people report reduced stiffness or improved range of motion following sessions
Sleep & Mood Support – Exposure to red light may positively influence circadian rhythms and energy levels
Wound Healing & Scarring – Ongoing studies suggest potential in supporting the body’s natural repair process
Please note: results may vary. Red light therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnosis.
